This course is geared for experienced AutoCAD users who want to understand and successfully apply AutoCAD Architecture in their work. Training covers the common commands and features used in AutoCAD Architecture. Construction documents are also covered with emphasis on annotation tools, dimensioning and schedules. Concepts of drawing management for multi-level and multi-wing projects is covered and a brief overview of VIZ Render is provided as well.

Course Objectives
Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture one of the most powerful - and complex - programs ever written by Autodesk. New users can find themselves overwhelmed by new and different concepts encountered when working with object-oriented technology. DC CADD's instructors can help you make sense of this sophisticated design program. Utilizing their knowledge of the building design industry they can ease your introduction into what can, in trained hands, be a very productive design tool.

Prerequisites

  • Thorough understanding of basic AutoCAD 200x commands and features.

  • Basic computer knowledge and skills

  • Familiarity with the Windows OS environment

  • Basic knowledge of drafting techniques and geometry
